Tree-shaded Tidelands Park, on the bay side of Coronado Island, has multiple paths and recreational fields, a little beach where you can launch small watercraft, and a partially accessible playground. To the north is the Ferry Landing Marketplace, an outdoor mall with palm-tree-lined walkways. Fishing is allowed at the ferry landing. On the short ferry ride between Coronado and the mainland you might see otters, brown pelicans, and sea lions. A one-mile shoreline promenade travels north from Tidelands Park to the small Centennial Park, which has grassy knolls and a rose garden.

The facilities listed below meet all of our access criteria unless otherwise noted.

Tidelands lots are off Mullinix Drive and Third Street. A free city lot is on both sides of Ferry Landing Marketplace at First and Orange Streets. At Tidelands Park picnic area and baseball field, and by each parking area at Ferry Landing Marketplace
Tables at Tidelands Park are on a concrete pad with a five-inch rise.

Other Things of Interest

San Diego Harbor Excursion operates a ferry between downtown San Diego and Coronado. Tickets are available at Broadway Pier in downtown San Diego and at Ferry Landing Marketplace on Coronado; (619) 234-4111. The ramp may be steep, depending on the tide level, especially in winter. Staff will provide assistance.
