The San Lorenzo River Trail, which runs several miles along both sides of the river, passes through the park. After sundown, poor park lighting warrants caution.

Trailhead: Southern entrance: San Lorenzo Boulevard and Riverside Avenue. Northern entrance: Felker Street near Highway One.
