Torrey Pines State Beach

This wide sandy beach is popular for swimming, sun bathing, scuba diving, and picnicking. At the southern end of the beach, which is backed by sandstone cliffs, the surf breaks dramatically over offshore boulders. The beach can be accessed by beach wheelchair at either entrance.

The facilities listed below meet all of our access criteria unless otherwise noted.

Beach Wheelchair: Yes

A manual beach wheelchair is available at both north and south entrances. The south (main) entrance is staffed full-time, the north only in summer. Reservations are suggested; call (858) 755-2063. Near entrance on North Torrey Pines Road At parking lots
